My two YouTube videos are a sight to behold, filmed at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum on 31 March 2025.
The museum houses hundreds of aircraft from the earliest days of aviation to the present day, including some of the most iconic military aircraft ever built, including the famous WW2 Battle of Britain Spitfire, Russian MiG fighter from the American War in Vietnam, the original “Jump Jet” with vertical take off and landing capabilities, the modern Gripen jet fighter from Sweden,and hundreds more.
The displays are extensive and awe inspiring, enough to keep you immersed for a good few hours. It’s one of the best freebies in Thailand!
If you get the chance to visit, please do. It’s fascinating, free to park, free to go in, and is right next to a BTS station with the same name as the museum. There’s also a nice coffee shop, and a small Thai style food center. So, go for it…
