เมืองโบราณคูบัว หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อเมืองโบราณบ้านคูบัว เป็นแหล่งโบราณคดีตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลคูบัว อำเภอเมืองราชบุรี จังหวัดราชบุรี ประเทศไทย ห่างจากตัวเมืองราชบุรีไปทางทิศใต้ประมาณ 5 กิโลเมตร เคยเป็นเมืองสำคัญในสมัยทวารวดี มีอายุตั้งแต่คริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 6 ถึง 11 และเป็นหนึ่งในเมืองสำคัญของอาณาจักรมอญ เมืองนี้ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลยุทธศาสตร์บนลานชายฝั่งทะเล สูงกว่าพื้นที่โดยรอบ 1 ถึง 2 เมตร และอยู่เหนือระดับน้ำทะเล 5 เมตร ใกล้กับแม่น้ำแม่กลอง ผังเมืองเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้าโค้งมนเรียงตามแนวแกนเหนือ-ใต้ มีความกว้างประมาณ 800 เมตร และยาว 2 กิโลเมตร
Khu Bua Ancient City is an archaeological site located in Tambon Khu Bua, Mueang Ratchaburi District, Ratchaburi Province, Thailand, approximately five kilometers south of Ratchaburi’s downtown.
It was a significant urban settlement during the Dvaravati period, dating from the 6th to the 11th century CE, and was one of the major cities of the Mon Kingdom.
The city was strategically situated on a coastal terrace, one to two meters higher than the surrounding area and five meters above sea level, near the Mae Klong River.
Its city plan was a rounded rectangle aligned along the north-south axis, measuring approximately 800 meters in width and 2 kilometers in length.
